Less than 2 Weeks Left for Nominations

There has been a significant increase in nominations for this year’s RT Global Imaging Industry Awards in the past week. With just two weeks left, the award event organizer (Comexposium Recycling Times (CRT)) reminds the global industry to nominate outstanding contributions and leadership.

In addition to the Remanufacturing Achiever Award, which was promoted last week, CRT is highlighting another prestigious accolade: the Diamond Pioneer Award.

History of Diamond Pioneer Award

Art Diamond

This award is named after Art Diamond (1930-2016) (pictured), a pioneer in printer and imaging supplies. It was established in 2016 to commemorate his vision of leadership, innovation, and dedicated craftsmanship. The Diamond Pioneer Award celebrates those who demonstrate a distinctive spirit of enterprise, innovation, or entrepreneurship, driving the industry forward.

Each year, one of Art Diamond’s surviving children, Glenn or Eve Diamond, presents the award via video to a deserving individual.

Previous Recipients

The first recipient in 2016 was Arnald Ho,the founder of Print-Rite and the first remanufacturer in China. Under his leadership, Print-Rite has secured over 3,000 patents.

Other esteemed recipients include Ed Swartz (posthumously), Jackson Wang, William “Skip” London, Mike Josiah, Jim Cerkleski and Zhu Shuang Quan.

In 2023, the award was presented to Graham Galliford, for his world-renowned, valuable leadership and professional guidance, having authored many research papers and given over 80 presentations to industry gatherings in Europe, the Americas and Asia in the field of toner-based printing technologies since 1974 with an emphasis on the formulation, manufacture, application and marketing of these digital printing with electrostatic toner technologies.
