Lexmark Targets SMEs with Latest Lasers
Lexmark’s latest printers aim to deliver enterprise-style features to small and medium businesses.
A new series of mono laser printers from Lexmark is designed to bring enterprise-level features to small and medium business, according to company officials.
“Small business needs the same speed, reliability and usability found in enterprise-level printers,” said executive vice president and president of imaging solutions and services Marty Canning.
“The Lexmark MS310 and MS410 series offer unexpected features such as confidential print, network security and remote manageability that are designed to keep small business on the leading edge of print technology.”
They are also said to be suitable for workgroup use within larger organizations.
Other features include remote printing from iOS (via AirPrint or Lexmark app) and Android devices, optional Wi-Fi, duplex printing, and up to 850-sheet capacity with the optional second tray.
The models available in Australia are the MS312dn ($299; 33ppm, up to 2,500 pages per month) and the MS415dn (pictured; $599; 38ppm, up to 7,200 pages per month, colour display panel).
