Mito Factory Awarded “China Environmental Labelling Certificate” for 10 Consecutive Years
According to Mito, its factory has been awarded the “China Environmental Labelling Certificate”. Mito claims that it is the 10th year it is granted such a certificate, stipulating that Mito’s product not only meet the requirements of acceptable quality but also reaches the requirements of environmental protection during production, use and disposal.
The certification has a specific requirement for the components of cartridges. For example, Chlorine containing plastics are forbidden to be used in plastic shells, and it also clearly specifies that the usage of heavy metal should be in compliance with the standard of SJ/T 11363 and GB/T 16288. Its audit has three main processes, including document audit, on-site inspection and sample testing. Mito has proved that it strictly executes the national standard in product development, material selection, production process and product verification.
China Environmental Labelling Product Committee was established on May 17, 1994. The Environmental Certification Centre of the State Environmental Protection Administration was founded in 2003. This Centre is recognized by the State Certification and Accreditation Administration and is the only institution to conduct national green product certification and grant product environmental labelling. The technical requirements of China’s environmental labelling product certification are promulgated by State Environmental Protection Administration.
