New Copier Drum Units Available from HYB

Positive feedback from the customers has pushed China-based HYB to become more proactive in the remanufacturing of drum units for copiers.

Consequently, HYB claims its drum manufacturing unit has become an essential sector of its whole product range. To date, HYB has developed more than 105 copier drum SKUs for use in Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Lexmark, Sindoh, Olivetti, and Kyocera Mita machines.

“We now have an inventory of over 22,000 empty OEM drum cartridges,” HYB’s factory manager said. “We can also assure our customers that in addition to product availability we can efficiently ship these products anywhere in the world.”

More than 4 years ago, HYB integrated its production capability, resources, research and spare parts development. The investment enabled HYB to expand its product range of copier spare parts.

In 2018, HYB:

• started remanufacturing copier PCU and drum units;
• built the testing sector especially for drum units;
• set up stable resources for collection of sorted good conditioned OEM drum cartridges;

In 2019, HYB:

• completed formula development to rebuild the configuration of premium long-life drum units;
• had its sales professionals start to promote their self-made spare parts;
• invested further to grow the capacity to meet market demand;
• set up its own standards and testing systems for spare parts to measure the lifecycle and length of life of its products at the request of its distributors.
