New Epson Printer Range: Print Wirelessly Without a Router
Epson has announced the launch of its new Small-In-One range of home printers which feature Wi-Fi Direct, allowing users to connect directly to Wi-Fi enabled devices without using a wireless router.
The Small-in-One range consists of the XP-412/413/415, 312/313/315 and 212/215. These compact printers all use Epson’s high-quality Claria Home Ink.
Epson has been making developments in the world of wireless printing for a while now with Epson Connect, the firm’s mobile and cloud printing service. The new range will be compatible with Epson Connect, as well as Epson iPrint and Google Cloud Print.
The technical specs look pretty impressive. Each model in the range comes with a 1200dpi scanner, and the 412/413/415 and 312/313/315 have a print speed of up to 33 pages per minute, the 212 and 215 clocking in a little slower with 26.
The printers also have unique email addresses, allowing users to send documents or photos to print from anywhere in the world.
