New LG Mobile Printer Produces More Prints
LG has developed a new Pocket Photo 2.0 mobile printer that is not only more compact and lighter, but also prints twice as many photos than its predecessor. Besides delivering 30 prints per charge, the battery charging time has also been reduced by half an hour.
Compatible with iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows devices, the Pocket Photo 2.0 prints wirelessly via Bluetooth connectivity with NFC function. Previously, the old version only supports NFC for Android phones. Each printout measures 51 x 76mm and has a 313dpi resolution.
An enhanced companion app now features a new set of filter effects and a frame augmentation option. With Zink printing technology, this model also eliminates the need for costly ink supplies. This inkless paper system can preserve printed images longer with less smearing, according to LG.
The Pocket Photo 2.0 is already retailing in China and will be available globally in 2014. This mobile printer will also be showcased at CES 2014 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.ia
