New Replacement Cartridge Chip for Kyocera from Chipjet
China-based Chipjet has released new replacement cartridge chips for use in Kyocera printers.
According to ChipJet, those in Europe, North and Latin America, Africa, and China can use this chip solution immediately.
Chipjet claims its replacement chip solution is fully tested and provides stable performance and features an OEM message after installation.
The new releases are for use in ECOSYS-P5021cdn, P5021cdw, M5521cdn, M5521cdw, P5026cdn, P5026cdw, M5526cdn, M5526cdw and P5018cdn in the replacement of the Kyocera Color Gen 7 series.
The new releases also work in the monochrome Kyocera Mono Gen 7 devices including the ECOSYS-P3045dn, P3055dn, P3060dn, P3145dn, P3150dn, P3155dn, P3260dn, M3145dn, M3645dn, M3860idn, M3860idf, P3050dn, M3655idn, M3660idn, P2335d, P2335dn, M2835dw, P2235dn, P2235dw, P2040dn, P2040dw, M2040dn, M2540dn, M2640idw, COSYS-M2135dn, M2635dn, and M2735dw.

Background
From July 2016, Kyocera released a series of A4 black & white and color MFPs, such as the M2135dn black and white multifunction printer and the P6230cdn A4 color printer. The former is outstanding for its print speed up to 37ppm; the latter combines impressive performance (at speeds up to 32ppm) and advanced features all in a compact footprint.
