New Venue Promises New Business Opportunities

Organisers claim the world’s largest imaging consumables expo’s move to a new venue will deliver new business opportunities for the cartridge aftermarket and distributors.

“The 3 day expos is still in Zhuhai, China, but it’s now downtown—just minutes away from all the hotels,” Tony Lee, Managing Director of Recycling Times Media explains. “This year, our RemaxAsia Expo will be newer, larger, and better and promising to deliver remanufacturers and distributors needing local solutions and new business opportunities.”

The annual expo will run 3 days, Thursday October 16 through to Saturday October 18, 2014. The RT Imaging Summit will run the day before on Wednesday October 15 at the Holiday Inn Hotel Zhuhai, just 10 minutes away from the new expo venue.

New Venue

RemaxAsia Expo moves to the new, state-of-art, world-class Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center. The recently opened exhibition centre was opened in August 2014 at a cost of 10 billion RMB (USD1.63 billion).  General Manger of the Center Ms. Tang Xue said, “We look forward to providing our best service for the exhibitors and visitors attending RemaxAsia Expo from all over the world.”

New Faces

Among the many new faces exhibiting this year, are, including IPM (Turkey), Park & OPC (Korea), Cartridge Savers (Philippines) Omnimetric (Malaysia), Laser (China) etc.

Beijing Laser—one of China’s largest parts suppliers says, “We’ve worked with Recycling Times in recent years and run several successful marketing campaigns. This expo will be the highlight of this year. We will be bringing all our latest products to show to our customers.”

Hubei Far East Zhuoyue is also exhibiting for first time following its successful acquisition of LG Chem’s toner business. Far East Zhuoyue was founded in 2007 with $10.5 million in equity, and was rapidly listed on the Tianjin Equity Exchange in 2011.

According to Joy He, Customer Service Manager of RemaxAsia Expo, the preregistered visitors started early this year. Many visitors return to the show every year, but this year they have started making their plans early. “I have received inquiries from many visitors who have never attended before—from Japan, Korea, US, Europe, South Africa and Oman. We will have our first visitors from Guatemala, this year!”

Larger

The total booth space already booked, as at August 12, is 12,368m2，nearly 2,000m2 more than last year. According to Sales Manager Kevin Zhu, “We certainly will break the record of last year. In fact, only a few booths are left for sale.”

At a time when many similar global shows are struggling, exhibitors have full confidence in the RemaxAsia Expo and continue to increase their investment and input in the show. More than half of the exhibitors have increased the size of their booths this year, and 40 exhibitors have doubled their booth size, planning to pack the space with new products and solutions for the global industry never seen before!

In addition, the iPrint Expo is held at the same venue on the same dates showing the latest in 3D printing and digital press printing technologies.

Better Service
