Office Products Alliance Acquires Basic Business Products
Kansas-based Office Products Alliance (OPA) announced its acquisition of Hammond-based Basic Business Products, which makes OPA the largest independent office products supplier in the Kansas City area.
As was reported by Kansas City Business Journal, OPA said in its press release the acquisition follows a deal for Express Business Supply in 2012 and other independent vendors in the past four years.
The acquisition expands OPA’s geographic reach and product portfolio including remanufactured toner cartridges. Also, the company will offer a designer to assist its clients with office layout.
OPA owner and President Mark Whitlow stated, “We offer our partners everything they need to outfit their office, from pencils and pens to toner and files, as well as a full floor of furniture.”
