Pantum Gets DataDirect Push into the Lucrative UK Market
Data Direct and Pantum have entered into a distribution agreement to supply Pantum printing products into the UK.
As a partner to hundreds of businesses in the UK, Data Direct has also recently entered into distribution agreements with Print-Rite Pelikan and with Olivetti. The company claims it is able to offer multiple opportunities and solutions to its dealer customer base.
The China-based Pantum, which is part of the Ninestar Group that includes Lexmark, is seeing growth in many countries and regions including Russia and the US. The brand was launched in 2010 and uses its own patented technologies.
Chris Mills (pictured), Business Development Manager at Data Direct, said “The Pantum range integration is already well underway. There is strong interest among dealers I have spoken with.”
According to Mills, the availability of Pantum printer stock in the UK allows Data Direct to take products to market immediately with confidence.
“The addition of the Pantum range complements the existing hardware range we have available at Data Direct. This will provide a boost to dealers in this new era of printing. We are now able to offer end-users a new and exciting range post-lockdown, whether they work from home or are back at the office.”
Pantum printers are already ready from the company’s new webshop: www.data-direct.co.uk. In addition to the sales support, there is a comprehensive suite of marketing materials available.
