Print-Rite Gets Innovative with Color Printer Tapes
China-based Print-Rite has announced the release a colorful range of new compatible tapes for use in label printers.
Thirty-nine years ago, founding CEO Arnald Ho founded the aftermarket company because he knew that nimble-fingered Chinese workers could much better reload the ribbons for dot-matrix printers. Today, the company is still an aftermarket leader for ribbons, but also toners, inks and tapes.
“This new range of barcode ribbons is perfectly compatible with a wide range of label printers,” a spokesperson told RT Media. “We select quality raw material to guarantee the safe use of printing.”
Print-Rite claims the new range of color ribbons or tapes will be available shortly which can provide printers customers with more options and benefits. Its compatible wax/resin tapes and ribbons are used in a thermal transfer process. The company also states they work well on both flat head and near-edge printers.
“Traditionally, most people use black ribbons and tapes because they are printing out barcodes and labels that only require a black colored text and images,” the spokesperson said. “However, the market for label printing can expand significantly if people can use label printers creatively in the home, for boutique shopping experiences or a range of other craft and hobby ideas.”
The tapes and ribbons can be used in a wide range of label printers including TSC-342 PRO, TSC-G210 203dpi, TSC 4502E, TSC TTP-244pro, ARGOX CP-3140, ZEBRA GK888CN, ZEBRA GT820, some of which are pictured here.
