Print-Rite’s 7th Innovation Award to Be Announced

The 7th Print-Rite Innovation Award and Environmental Innovation Contest has officially begun. The theme for this year’s contest is “Wonderful Innovation, Print a Green Future”. Works from imaging consumables industry people nationwide are welcome.

The Print-Rite Award is recognized as the “Oscar” of the imaging consumables industry. It was initiated in 2007 by Print-Rite, the largest aftermarket consumables manufacturer in the world. Through the 7-year link between the government, industrial associations and enterprises, the contest has not only demonstrated the achievements of China’s aftermarket technology, innovations and intellectual property rights, but enhanced the industry’s consciousness to improve independent intellectual property, speed up technological innovation and compete fairly in international markets. According to one authoritative data source, over the past 7 years, patents  granted to industry players (excluding those to Print-Rite) have increased by 20 times!

At the same time, Print-Rite has held an environmental innovation activity promoting the low-carbon, sustainability lifestyle to all people. Moreover, a newly set-up “Social Responsibility Award for Green Actions” will appreciate those governmental agencies, media, enterprises and public institutions which actively promote green and sustainable principles.

The environmental innovation activity is in full swing on the Internet. As the Weixin application becomes increasingly popular, the platform for this year’s activity has been extended from Weibo to Weixin, to widely promote the concept of environmental protection and sustainability among the young generation.The promotions include such activities as pictures of environmentally friendly actions and the innovation race which is planned from July to October.
