Printchip Shutters UK Office

Printchip International closed its UK office on 23 December, 2013. According to a statement from its official website, customers’ accounts will be taken over by Italy’s Italeco Srl.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the copier and printer market, Printchip International has been focused on developing and delivering smart chips and cost-effective solutions to the recycling and remanufacturing industry.

Established in 1993, Italeco Srl is a highly innovative Italian company engaged in several high technology fields, including: Dino-Lite digital microscopes; Remote Diagnostic Visual Devices; Electronic Device development; Specialty Inks; and Aftermarket Cartridge Chips.

Regarding Printchip leaving the market, Marco Torello, the company’s Founder, told Recycling Times, “Printchip was founded by me and Peter White. After Peter White’s passing, I was not able to follow two offices at the same time.
