Ricoh Expands Print-Anywhere Versatility with First New Wifi-Embedded Laser Printer and MFP
Ricoh Americas Corporation announced the first Ricoh desktop monochrome laser printer and multifunction product (MFP) with embedded WiFi, enabling users to easily print in home offices and small business settings, including doctor offices and construction sites among others, without requiring an optional wireless card.
The RICOH SP 311DNw printer and SP 311SFNw MFP expand Ricoh’s already broad portfolio of solutions to meet the increasing demand for more flexible connectivity options in today’s small business and home office environments. The new printer and MFP print up to 30 pages per minute at a resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dpi over a wireless connection and can also be driven through standard USB 2.0 or Ethernet connections.
“The demand for full seamless capabilities and affordable personal laser printing for small business and home office environments remain strong,” said Jason Dizzine, Vice President, Technology Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “Expect to see embedded wireless capability in more Ricoh devices as we expand our portfolio for this market.”
Ricoh continues to offer printers with popular features and the SP 311DNw is no exception with a small footprint, faster print speeds and built-in networking. In addition to printing, the SP 311SFNw MFP copies, faxes, and scans in color. It features a 4-line LCD control panel with alphanumeric keyboard for simple programming with eight Quick Dials, and includes special ID Copy workflow that enables easy imaging of identification cards on a single side of a document.
