Ricoh Unveils MP 2501SP Multifunction Product
On May 21, Ricoh America unwrapped its MP 2501SP, a productive and cost-effective monochrome multifunction printer (MFP) designed to meet the various needs of small workgroups. The MP 2501SP produces 25 ppm, copies and prints documents up to 11×17 inches in size, scans in color, and provides optional faxing and advanced security features. It is built on Ricoh’s advanced technology platform, which includes mobile worker support, cloud connectivity and sustainability features.
The MP 2501SP is easy to manage as part of a fleet. Administrators can use a company logo and program icons to specify functions and applications. They can also register user codes, set user quotas, run usage reports, and apply common settings across multiple devices of the same model to simplify fleet management. The MP 2510SP also uses password and user-specification to prevent unauthorized access.
The MP2501SP has a 4.3-inch tilting, color touch screen panel and enables each user to program up to 72 icons. This new device can store up to 3,000 electronic documents for convenient use. It features Energy Star accreditation, automatic duplexing, optional quota setting and an eco-friendly indicator encouraging users to consume less paper.
Dominic Pontrelli, Senior Vice President for Marketing at Ricoh Americas, said, “The MP 2501SP can provide the steady printing and copying work, and can also serve as a powerful information device. This product is designed to deal with the challenges in information workflow.”
