Since the nomination period began on June 14, RT Global Imaging Industry Awards receive worldwide nominations from over ten different countries.

This diverse international participation highlights the awards’ global impact and recognition, as individuals, organizations, and companies from around the world nominate those making significant contributions to the imaging industry.

Comexposium Recycling Times (CRT), the organizer of the awards to be presented during RemaxWorld in Zhuhai, has received numerous inquiries about this year’s event.

What are the RT Global Imaging Industry Awards?

The annual Awards honor individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to the printer and imaging supplies industry worldwide.

The US-based Recharger Magazine has been recognized globally as the premier aftermarket imaging industry journal. For 25 years, it honored the most remarkable individuals and organizations in the industry annually. In 2014, CRT acquired Recharger Magazine and has continued to carry the torch for the Global Imaging Awards, which recognizes the efforts of industry leaders.

Since 2014, CRT has received approximately 1,000 nominations every year and has presented awards to hundreds of exceptional individuals, organizations, and companies around the world.

How many award categories are there?

There are 12 awards presented as per the image:

Among these awards is the recently added Remanufacturing Achiever Award.

It was first presented in 2022 to Sushil Kumar Agarwal from Itek Solutions India. Agarwal was nominated for the Guinness World Records for remanufacturing the same HP 88A printer cartridge 72 times for the same loyal customer since December 14, 2011.

This year, CRT will once again present the Remanufacturing Achiever Award to a company, organization, or individual who champions a new, thriving business model for remanufacturing equipment and/or printer cartridges and offers a new solution for a more environmentally sustainable planet.

How are the winners selected?

A panel of international judges with a combined industry experience of more than 200 years carefully selects the final winners. They examine all the nominations in each category and independently choose those who demonstrate outstanding achievements. Factors considered include the reasons for the nomination, the frequency of nominations, and other supporting proof, which nominees can provide if they nominate themselves.

When will the winners be announced?

The 12 industry award winners will be officially announced at the awards ceremony on the first day of the RemaxWorld Expo 2024 in Zhuhai on October 17, 2024.
