Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced it received recognition for its Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and its mono, color laser and multi-function (MFP) printer devices from Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) in the U.S. BLI recognized Samsung with a Summer 2013 Outstanding Achievement Award in Innovation for its groundbreaking use of NFC to simplify mobile print, scan and fax capability. In addition, the Xpress M2825DW and M2875 Series and ProXpress M4020ND devices were selected for BLI’s Summer 2013 ‘Pick’ awards in the monochrome printer and MFP categories while the CLX-6260FW, CLX-6260FD, and CLP-680 Series printers won in the energy efficiency category.
