Sharp Launches New Range of Professional A4 Printers

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), has announced the launch of four new A4 printers designed for modern business environments. These include the BP-B550PW, BP-C545PW, BP-C131PW, and the BP-C131WD multifunction printer (MFP). These devices are built to meet the high-volume printing needs of professional offices while offering advanced features in security, efficiency, and sustainability.

The new models are equipped with enhanced security features aimed at protecting sensitive business data. These include data encryption, secure data erasure, personal data protection, and TLS 1.3 support. Additional features such as boot verification, automatic firmware updates, and end-of-lease data deletion ensure robust security throughout their lifecycle, safeguarding against network intrusions and unauthorized access.

The BP-C131PW single-function color printer and the BP-C131WD multifunction printer are designed with sustainability in mind. Both devices print at speeds of 31 pages per minute and incorporate approximately 50% recycled plastic in their construction. They also utilize Sharp’s patented organic toner, made from plant-based materials, and are equipped with Energy Star advanced power management, low-temperature fusing, and best-in-class energy efficiency to minimize environmental impact.

The BP-B550PW and BP-C545PW models offer printing speeds of 50 and 45 pages per minute, respectively. Both feature 7″ Class LCD touchscreens, and the BP-C545PW also includes optional virus detection and data security kits for enhanced cybersecurity protection.

All four models provide seamless integration with cloud services, including direct printing from Microsoft Office and Sharp’s Cloud Connect capabilities. IT managers can also leverage Sharp’s Synappx Manage to remotely monitor and streamline device management, improving operational efficiency.

These professional-grade printers are now available for purchase directly through Sharp or through authorized Sharp dealers.
