Sixty-six Toner Products of Static Control Granted Nordic Ecolabel

Static Control (SCC) announced its 66 toner SKUs has been granted the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Plus, the company’s customers can now apply for the license to place Ecolabel on remanufactured cartridges using the recognized toners.

SCC said it manufactures products under the environmental standard ISO 14001:2004 and the latest recognition shows its commitment to environmentally-friendly products and practices.

Tom Claessens, Technical Manager at Static Control Components (Europe), commented, “The Nordic Ecolabel offers a valuable way for our customers to differentiate themselves from their competition. It communicates less waste, lower consumption of energy and raw materials, and high standards of quality and functionality to the consumer. We appreciate the benefit this offers to remanufacturers and are looking to submit more toners in the future.”

As was revealed, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel is estimated that 91% of the Nordic population recognize this trademark and its high credibility. Also, “consumers use it as a tool to identify the products that are environmentally-sound and of high quality”. SCC believes that genuine remanufacturers can use the trademark in their marketing and expand their business opportunities by associating their cartridges with this label.
