Toshiba Canada to Provide PrintReleaf Reforestation Program for Platinum Customers

Wirth Consulting reports that, Toshiba Business Solutions (TBS), Canada, has selected PrintReleaf – the automated program for global reforestation – to be part of its Platinum services package.

With the PrintReleaf program, PrintReleaf measures a company’s paper consumption over time, and calculates how many trees were harvested to supply that paper. The company then chooses a reforestation project under which PrintReleaf plants new trees to compensate for the company’s paper consumption.

Under the new Toshiba partnership, announced early this month, PrintReleaf will automatically plant trees equivalent to the paper used by Toshiba Business Solutions Platinum Service customers.

PrintReleaf Founder and CEO Jordan Darragh, announcing the collaboration, said: “PrintReleaf is proud to assist Toshiba Business Solutions in reforesting the paper used by their customers. Our agreement stipulates that trees will be planted on behalf of TBS Canada in the seven reforestation projects we maintain around the world.”
