UTec Boasts Orders for 100,000 SmarTact Cartridges

Union Technology International (MCO) Co Ltd (UTec) announced its SmarTactTM cartridge has gained orders exceeding 100,000 units in the last one month.

According to UTec, the SmarTact Cartridge shows its commitment to Research and Development, and will not be affected by the GEO. In addition, the core technology of the product is a patented switching system which enables a contact development cartridge to work in a development printer. The SmarTact Cartridge which, UTec claims, can be used for a large number of HP laser printers, also contains other patented design and technologies, such as the toner recycling system and the chip holder.

Furthermore, UTec noticed the switching technology has gained awards, including the 2012 Hong Kong Award for Industries—Technological Achievement Award of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation and the highest technology award for industries in Hong Kong—and the 2013 Guangdong Outstanding Patent Award as a recognition of its  R&D capability.
