Opportunities Found in China – Berto gets a handful

Anyone looking for a business edge in their own country or region now has to include China as part of their business model.

China is the great economic success story of the past 30 years. Previously an agricultural society, urbanisation reached over 52% in 2013. China is the world’s second-largest economy after the United States and the biggest trading partner for most Asian economies.

According to the China Statistical Yearbook-2016, China had 2,801,143 factories. There was no breakdown as to size and type. Compare this with the U.S. manufacturing statistics:

• companies with less than 500 employees = 243,298
• companies with more than 500 employees = 31,109
• Total factories in the USA = 274,407

So China has more than ten times the number of factories than the U.S.

Hundreds of the factories related to printers and printing supplies are within 100 kilometres (60 miles) of Zhuhai making a visit to RemaxWorld Expo even more worthwhile. The expo is the largest of its kind in the world to host displays including office equipment, printers, copiers, supplies, part and components.
