Returning to the RemaxWorld Expo after an eight-year hiatus was an exhilarating experience. My last visit was in 2016, and much has changed since then—not only in the industry but also in the world, marked by global upheavals and a pandemic. Arriving in Zhuhai a few days early allowed me to witness the city’s remarkable transformation firsthand, heightening my anticipation for the exhibition.

“The expo began on a high note with a beautifully orchestrated and symbolic opening ceremony, setting the stage for productive and successful days ahead.”

RemaxWorld Expo remains the prime global platform to reconnect with long-standing friends and partners while creating valuable new connections. After such a lengthy gap, I took full advantage of the networking opportunities, filling my schedule with meetings across all event days.

Two Standout Highlights

The Summit has always been a cornerstone of the event, offering deep insights into the office printing and consumables market. This year’s summit did not disappoint, featuring speakers from across the globe, including China, the United States, India, Europe, and Latin America. It was enlightening to hear diverse perspectives on the current state of the industry, challenges, and emerging trends in different regions.

Another highlight was the RT Global Imaging Industry Awards, a celebration of excellence within the industry. Winners across 12 categories were determined by a panel of independent judges and industry experts. Seeing partners and peers recognized for their achievements added a personal and celebratory note to the event.

A unique feature of RemaxWorld 2024 was the opportunity to visit the local production facilities of key industry players. I toured the plants of ShenZhen Meyink Technology Co., Ltd., HaoYinBao Group Co., Ltd., and Retech Technology International Ltd. These visits provided valuable insights into production organization, quality control systems, and product portfolios. I even collected product samples and printouts for independent quality analysis back in Russia.

In conclusion, my visit to Zhuhai and RemaxWorld Expo was immensely fruitful. I held over 50 meetings with existing and potential partners of Business Inform Group. Discussions covered the outcomes of 2024 partnerships, future supply plans, and cooperation strategies for 2025. Notably, despite challenges in organizing the supply of printing devices and consumables to Russia, 2024 saw a significant increase in foreign companies eager to expand into the Russian market.

This trip reaffirmed the vital role of RemaxWorld Expo in fostering global collaboration and innovation in the printing industry. I look forward to seeing how these partnerships and plans unfold in the coming year.
