The Best Way to Go Green – Berto saves the environment
The definition of going green varies from one person to another depending on the level and extent to which they wish to care for the environment.
To many, it means you choose a sustainable and renewable way of living. A green lifestyle focuses on reducing, reusing and recycling whenever possible. Going green is a gradual process of changing your lifestyle by using products that are considered to be green and ensuring that you reduce the imprint you and your family leave on the environment.
Increasingly, businesses around the world are responding to a global imperative and consumer demand to go green. And more than 80% of people respect companies and brands that adopt eco-friendly practices, according to an international survey.
Indeed, there are a lot industries can do to protect the planet. In the imaging equipment and supplies industry, companies are trying their best to lessen environmental impacts. The OEMs promote cartridge return programs to collect used cartridges; while the aftermarket companies avoid the empty cartridges from ending up in landfills through remanufacturing.
Trade associations, on the other hand, are promoting the industry’s environmental benefits too.
