Canon Launches imageFORMULA DR-350NW Scanner

Canon U.S.A. announced the release of its latest imageFORMULA DR-S350NW Office Document Scanner, designed for versatile connectivity to desktop computers, smartphones and tablets.

The imageFORMULA DR-S350NW is designed to help automate paper-based business processes and to help improve the efficiency of information management. It can be applied to a wide range of scenarios and cater to users in many industries, including government, retail franchises, education, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, construction etc.

The main features of the new model include:

Fast Scanning

The new device can scan up to 50 pages per minute and has the ability to hold up to 60 sheets in the Automatic Document Feeder. It can also scan both sides of a document in a single pass, in color, grayscale, and black-and-white.

Ease to Use

With Canon CaptureOnTouch Lite Web scanning software, users can complete scanning from their mobile devices to a variety of destinations over a network. Furthermore, no installation is required. Once users can scan the QR on the scanner with the camera of their mobile devices, the software will automatically launch and be ready to save data.

Standalone Scanning

The imageFORMULA DR-S350NW can operate independently without the need to give commands on a computer. It offers a large 4.3’’ LCD color touch panel, allowing users to configure scan settings, register and perform scanning jobs, and even preview scanned results.

Scalable for Large Deployments

The device is also ideal for an enterprise environment where scanning tasks are managed centrally. It can serve as the control center of a fleet of multiple scanners, and users can access these devices or document repositories.
