XtraMaker Launches 5-in-1 Desktop DTF Printer

XtraMaker recently launched its M1 Series desktop DTF printing system on Kickstarter. The company describes the series as a five-in-one desktop DTF system that integrates printing, powder application, powder shaking, curing and air purification within a single unit.

The M1 Series consists of two models. The standard M1 supports A4-size printing and is designed for applications including small transfers, chest logos, hats, canvas bags and T-shirts. The M1 Pro supports A3+ printing and is intended for larger designs such as hoodie backs and jacket graphics. Both models use the same core automated workflow, with the main difference being their printing capacity and overall machine size.

According to XtraMaker, the system supports resolutions of up to 1440 × 1440 dpi and uses a G7-certified color management system. Three resolution modes are available for different printing requirements. The company says the system can produce transfers for a range of materials, including cotton, denim, polyester, nylon, silk, canvas, leather and blended fabrics. The published specifications also state that the transfer film can have a thickness of approximately 0.5 mm, although independent performance data was not provided in the launch materials.

The machines incorporate an automated white-ink circulation and maintenance system. XtraMaker says the system periodically circulates white ink without consuming additional ink during routine maintenance. The equipment also includes a UPS battery designed to maintain the ink system during power interruptions. According to the company, the system can enter a maintenance mode for periods of up to 30 days, while more than 20 sensors are used to monitor operating conditions.

Air filtration is another component of the integrated design. The M1 Series uses an H13-grade HEPA filter combined with activated carbon filtration, which XtraMaker says is intended to capture particles and odors generated during the DTF curing process. The filtration system is integrated into the same enclosure as the printing and curing equipment.

XtraMaker is a brand backed by EAI Tech, the parent company associated with YDLIDAR. The company positions the M1 Series toward independent apparel designers, home-based studios and small-scale businesses seeking a desktop DTF production system. The Kickstarter campaign represents the company’s initial commercial launch of the M1 Series.
